GLOBALIZATION  OF  BEAUTY

...A few years ago it was usual to see plenty of Spanish women purchasing beauty products not
available in Spain, remembers Mary Gay McKee, the Fashion and Beauty Director of Harrods.
Today, things changed and, even if there are still brands to discover, more and more novelties are
arriving to main Spanish cities. One of the pioneers in venturing into niche brands (quality brands
which don't aim to the mass market) is Beauty Cube in Santiago de Compostela, which counts
with an exclusivity deal on brands such as In Fiore, John Masters or SkinCeuticals (which was re-
cently adquired by the L'Oréal group).
